I grew up in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. I spent a lot of my childhood reading books (academic and leisurely). In between classic novels or storybooks (In French, English, and Creole), I also spent time lost in front of the tv, watching movies or sitting on the roof of my house admiring nature's awe. Fortunately during some summers, my brother and I had the chance to visit my aunts in Brooklyn and experience life in New York. Although it was great, I am very proud of my upbringing in Haiti which shaped the person I am today.
